MISA Lesotho holds a two-day children’s camp

The Media Institute of Southern Africa (MISA) Lesotho chapter started a two-day camp introducing children to media production, cyber bullying, children’s rights and leadership skills.

The camp is part of a serious of events aimed at celebrating the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child’s 25th anniversary through provision of skills on media production on various issues around children’s rights.

Since the beginning of the project, MISA Lesotho has produced child who run radio station children’s programme at radio  Spes Nostra every Saturday from 9am to 11:30 am.

Besides the radio programm, under the project children have produced a specialised magazine called Children’s Voice supported by MISA Lesotho, World Vision and Unicef Lesotho.
