Community sensitisation workshop on establishment of radio station in the Mokhotlong district by the Media Institute of Southern Africa Lesotho (MISA Lesotho) chapter took off this morning supported by Open Society Initiative in Southern Africa (OSISA).
Officiating the event, the District Administrator Mr. Motsamai Mokoto said the radio will be a platform for access to information to effect development in the district.
Participating at workshop are members of the civil society and community councillors in the district and this is the first workshop by MISA Lesotho. Others will be held at Quthing next week on 22nd & 23rd and 24th to 25th Nov at Semokong in the Maseru district.
The workshops are part of activities under Access To Information (ATI) through establishment of Community Radio Stations (CRSs project.
